Throwback Thursday 2 - Walter Hugo & Zoniel’s Jellyfish Tank - 20th of July 2014

Genuinely, an ethereal experience to see the nebulous jellyfish bobbing around tanks of saltwater on a balmy, Sunday night at the corner of High Park St and Windsor St.

It was the last night of the installation and Afia was in the middle of having Chicken Pox, she desperately wanted to see them. Off we went, thinking it would be quiet. We couldn’t believe how busy it was.

You can read a little bit more about it, here: http://www.thedoublenegative.co.uk/2014/07/something-extraordinary-jellyfish-toxteth/

Morning Sun

The weekend being an absolute washout with moments of warm weather and bright sunlight, this morning being no exception to how the weekend panned out. Good ol’ British summer back to it’s usual business.

Double Travel

The weather’s been atrocious the last few days hence this random shot of two camper vans.

Normality Resumes

After some absolutely record breaking warm weather, normality resumes just in time to put a dampener (lol) on the sunny, summer weather.

The perils of living in the UK.

Dusk

The dusk light at this time of year is absolutely beautiful.

From the Streets

What you will find with a lot of the work coming out of Caseus Photography is that it will have a street style aesthetic as it was where I learned the vast majority of my style. It is always something that I do and will always keep a hand in.

Street photography is a fertile learning ground from being able to set up your camera for manual settings, thinking about and preparing to get the right shot in an instant all the way down to just being confident behind a camera and being ‘brave’ enough to take a particular photograph.

Throwback Thursday 1 - 28th of November 2015

Has to be one of my favourite weddings I’ve done. Lee is a good friend of mine and it was an absolute pleasure to photograph his big day to the amazing Lucy. (Zak)

Watch This Space...

We’ll be posting various things on the blog page from special offers, competitions and just general photography related subjects.

Ricoh GR III

An exceptional camera that is perfect to capture the abstract whenever on your travels or a nice little companion to your main rig. I cannot recommend this camera enough and it still holds out the last vestiges of hope for the Compact Camera. (Zak)
