Throwback Thursday 5 - 25th of August 2011

Young Shiverpool Tour 2011.

Brilliant company that operates a very entertaining tour of Liverpool. Definitely an experience worth doing and go over to their site for more details.

Personal

From mine and Afia’s trip to London from the 22nd - 25th of August 2019. Amazing city and so much to do, 3 days didn’t do it justice.

Personal

In London for the next few days so expect some touristy stuff.

Jim's Banjos

Jim makes his Banjos in the back yard of his brother-in-laws house, slap-bang in the middle of West Derby. They’re beautifully crafted instruments that are mainly bought from people in the Republic of Ireland, hence the Celtic design details.

Have a little look at his site JP Banjos if you’re into that sort of thing or in the market for a Banjo.

Throwback Thursday 4 - Liverpool: Capital of Culture 2008

Right at the start of when I took a serious interest in photography happened to coincide with Liverpool’s Capital of Culture year 2008.

I’ve went through a load of photographs over that year and my main takes from a decade ago is that styles haven’t changed too much, everyone seemed a little bit happier and the fact that smartphones weren’t around meant that people kept their heads up.
